Jaykco is a mother and son design team out of Kansas City. Every strap is handmade in the Kansas City area. They are not factory perfect but we do try to make each one as uniquely wonderful as possible.
 

  • Believe it or not Casey Jones was a real person and yes he was an engineer. He passed away on April 30, 1900, when his passenger train, the "Cannonball Express," collided with a stalled freight train at Vaughan, Mississippi on a foggy and rainy night.
  • His dramatic death, trying to stop his train and save lives, made him a folk hero of the time, he was immortalized in a popular ballad sung by his friend Wallace Saunders engine wiper for the IC. Of which many version of his life and death have sprung up in popular song.
