The PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K is a 4-knob version that has improved operability from the previous Purple Plexifier. The MID knob allows you to freely control the tone. A thick, compressed tone has been achieved while maintaining high response. The overall tone has been sublimated into a more modern tone, and the operation of the MID knob in particular has been adjusted to always allow for optimal control.

Plexi is a transparent board made of acrylic. Why does this word strike such a chord with the sensibilities of rock guitarists?
The amplifier, commonly referred to as "Plexi amp", is a British vintage amplifier with a Plexiglas (acrylic board) control panel produced by around 1969.

In 1962, when there were no PA systems like today, guitar amplifiers produced in pursuit of a louder sound would later make rock history.
Top guitarists around the world have demonstrated their power on stage, and even today, Plexi amps continue to have an overwhelming presence as a companion to many guitarists and as an object of admiration for many guitarists.

Although it is simply called a Plexi amp, there are many variations in the tone depending on the output, combo, stack, and model. The sound that comes to mind when you say "Plexi sound" is nothing other than the tone played by legendary masters.

That is the tone that PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K aimed for. That gorgeous Plexi sound with "hot rod" customization. Furthermore, the "brown" sound that guitarists around the world admire and whose sound is still being verified. With PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K, you can get that so-called "sound".

The most important thing in reproducing that Plexi sound is the distortion of the amplifier. It is meaningless to simply distort the modified Plexi strongly and produce the sound when you play the guitar with all your might.
Even at full gain setting, if you play hard, it will distort strongly, and if you play softly, it will be clear. The guitarist can freely control the strength of the distortion, and convey the expression to the fullest detail. However, it is not too sensitive, and the player can enjoy the sound with ease. In other words, it needs the same response as a real famous guitar amplifier, and a balance of clean and distortion.

PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K covers the beautiful tone at the sweet spot common to many Plexi amplifiers, from clean to full gain, and even the customized and high-gain Plexi area. Its small body and simple 3 knobs and one trim pot allow you to freely control the tone.

The PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K is not only characterized by its response, balance, and sound like a real amp. The wide range of tones that can be obtained by combining the TREBLE and MID knobs is also unique to BJF.
Many amps, including Plexi amps, have a 3-band equalizer, but the PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K does not.
The PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K creates sound based on the low range of the guitar itself. By not controlling this, the overall distortion is based on the foot, and it is designed to make it easy to adjust the tone from there.
When you start making sounds with the PURPLE PLEXIFIER 4K, first adjust the treble and mid-range sounds with the MID knob. Turning it counterclockwise cuts the midrange and changes it to a shred tone. To maintain a solid and tight tone, cutting the mids does not make the sound hazy. Turning it clockwise emphasizes the midrange and creates a warm tone.
Once the basic direction of the tone has been decided, finally adjust the TREBLE. The TREBLE knob controls the tone balance around 2kHz. If you set the MID knob to strongly push out the mids, the TREBLE knob will only fine-tune the tone. If you cut the mids, the effect of the TREBLE knob will be stronger. An

amp-like pedal with a wide gain range from clean to distortion. However, there are surprisingly few pedals that can use the entire range from clean to full gain like a real amp.

For example, a British vintage fuzz and a Stratocaster will give you a legendary psychedelic tone, while a powerful American fuzz and a Jazzmaster will give you a grunge-style tone.
