We are so proud to be a 2020 authorized dealer for Shin's Music / Dumbloid effects!

The vast majority of people who know about the Dumble amplifier will never see one of them in person, much less play through one.
Produced by Alexander Dumble out of his shop in [somewhere, CA], only about 300 Dumbles are currently in circulation, with many of them designed custom for specific clients. Dumbles are not only scarce, but incredibly expensive. The few that have sold on Reverb fetch somewhere between $50,000 and $70,000.
And then there’s the Dumbloid, a Japanese overdrive and distortion pedal that meticulously recreates the Dumble sound. The Dumbloid is also itself scarce and incredibly expensive, often running upwards of $600 on the US used market.

The Twin is an welcome addition the lineup as it offers two unique channels, each with its own brand of overdrive and distortion. The first channel delivers the standard dose of the familiar, creamy and touch-sensitive Dumble overdrive, while the second channel takes it up a notch with a tighter bass response, higher gain capacity, and a more distortion-heavy sound reminiscent of 80s rock. Both channels have a dedicated Jazz / Rock switch.

In Jazz mode you can coax tones of many famous players from Robben Ford to Larry Carlton. The tone get full, woody, round characteristics. Kick it in to Rock mode and you get more mids and focus a-la Robben Ford, Keith Urban, Santana. There is quite a bit of headroom in this pedal it can be used as an organic boost to a full on Overdrive Special! The Drive control gently ramps up the gain, while the Accent controls the sensitivity and dynamics that correspond with the input coming from the instrument.
